Psalms 106:1 says “Praise the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good….” The Lord has been good by drawing many children to His Son, Jesus Christ for salvation this fall in the After School Good News Clubs® throughout West Virginia. God has raised up an army of volunteer teachers and workers for these clubs. He has enabled these volunteer teachers to clearly communicate the Gospel to the children & give an invitation to receive Jesus as personal Savior.
Roy was one of those children who responded to the invitation to receive Jesus for salvation. When he was asked why he came back to talk with the club worker, he immediately replied: “I want Jesus to save me.” Roy admitted he was a sinner and he believed Jesus died on the cross for his sins and rose again on the third day. He received Jesus for salvation.
All of our supporters had a part in Roy’s salvation and the many other children who received Jesus for salvation. We are thankful for those committed to supporting CEF and helping us minister to the children the wonderful message of salvation. “Praise the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good….”
